Thiruvananthapuram, April 29 : Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that he does not need the results of exit polls to come out later on Thursday as he has no doubt on what the result of the April 6 Assembly election is going to be. I did say before and recently, that we are going to win and win with more number of seats than in 2016. I have no doubt about it, he said to a query on the exit polls.

The Trinamool Congress is likely to return to power in West Bengal, multiple exit polls predicted on Thursday. The Bharatiya Janata Party, which mounted a strong campaign in the state will get more than 100 seats, but will fall short of the majority by a significant margin, the predictions said. However, the saffron party is expected to retain power in Assam.
In Tamil Nadu, exit polls predicted a sweeping victory for the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam while the Left Democratic Front looks set to return to power in the neighbouring state of Kerala.

On the other hand, Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) is expected to get 20-36 seats and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) may get 0-2 seats.
The Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress looks poised to retain power in West Bengal, while the DMK led by M.K. Stalin will come to power in Tamil Nadu with a big majority.As per the CVoter Exit Poll for Times Now/ABP News, the NDA is winning .
