May 3, 2021 Commercial Burglary – 12:54 a.m. – 5300 block of Lincoln Ave. – Officers responded regarding a burglary alarm at the location and located a west door window smash. The metal security gate had also been cut with what appeared to be bolt cutters. The owner responded but was unable to determine a loss. Terrorist Threats – 8:33 a.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – The college received an email threat of violence over the recent release of a viral video depicting anti-police sentiment. The college voluntarily closed its campus for the day as a precaution and sent employees home.
