The Kodiak Shakesbears return to the stage this week with their production of âA Midsummer Nightâs Dream,â their first live performance in more than a year.Â
Their adaptation of Shakespeare s romantic comedy is set in late 19th century Victorian London, with scenes taking place in locations from âthe underbelly of London s back alleys, to the dank and dark forest outside a village,â Jared Griffin said in a press release.
Griffin is co-directing the play with Alli Hartt. Â
The performance will use digital media to bring the play to life. Instead of building a set, the production will use digital projections to display the scenes.Â
