Health care workers, first responders get free zoo admission
OKLAHOMA CITY – Health care workers and emergency responders will get free admission into the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden this month, as February is Healthcare Workers and Emergency Responders Appreciation Month.
The zoo is also offering 50% off general admission for up to four immediate family members of those workers.
Throughout the month, health care workers and emergency responders also will enjoy additional discounts on things like Wild Encounters, the zoo’s behind-the-scenes program that allows people to connect with Asian elephants, bison, Galápagos tortoises, grizzly bears, Indian rhinos and sea lions like never before.
