St. Frances Cree Bilingual School both on McPherson Avenue and Bateman Crescent, are moving to online learning. The Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools says it is making the entire school move to online out of an abundance of caution after a positive COVID-19 case was identified at the school which is being investigated as a variant of concern. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is recommending all close contacts get tested.
Also this weekend, officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division of a positive COVID-19 case in individuals at St. Joseph High School, Holy Cross High School, and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School. The case at St. Joseph is being investigated as a variant of concern (VOC), and the SHA recommends that all students and staff at that school get tested.
Greater Saskatoon Caltholic Schools (GSCS) says it’s been informed of a positive COVID-19 case at St. Joseph High School, Holy Cross High School and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School.

On Friday, officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division of a positive COVID-19 case in individuals at St. Joseph High School, Holy Cross High School and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School.
The case at St. Joseph is being investigated as a variant of concern (VOC), and the SHA recommends that all students and staff at that school get tested.
GSCS says it is working with Public Health to notify parents and caregivers and risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low.
