Dec. 31 CONCORD BART has begun resuming service between two East Bay stations after a trackway fire, authorities said Wednesday night.
BART officials began tweeting about the incident just before 7:15 p.m., and stopped service between the Concord and Pleasant Hill stations on its Antioch line in the Antioch and San Francisco International Airport station directions.

The boulevard had to be closed because fire trucks blocked traffic. At one point, the City recommended avoiding the boulevard from Highway 24 to South California.
The fire was reported shortly after 3 p.m. and traffic was again flowing before 5:30.
