Join the Cape Cod Maritime Museum online this Sunday at 2 p.m. to hear Andrew Gottlieb, executive director of the Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC), speak about the urgent issues surrounding Climate Change on Cape Cod.
Scientific data shows that the northeastern U.S., including Cape Cod, will experience dramatic increases in sea level rise due to climate change. The region can also expect increasingly warmer temperatures, more droughts and an increased frequency in extreme weather.
Since it was founded in 1968, APCC has helped restore natural resources in every town on the Cape, procured better environmental policy at the county, state and federal level, and brought in millions of dollars to improve, protect and preserve Cape Cod. Gottlieb brings extensive environmental protection experience in local, state and county government to his work with APCC.
