Those who are craving traditional Irish music for St. Patrick’s Day this year without the risk of coronavirus are in luck.
Poisoned Dwarf, a Williamsburg-based music group, will perform virtually on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) on Facebook Live as part of Hampton History Museum’s virtual Front Porch Music Series.
âPoisoned Dwarf plays virtuosic, innovative and passionate renditions of traditional Irish and Scottish music on acoustic instruments,â according to the museumâs news release on Monday. âFive talented musicians create a driving sonic energy that has been captivating audiences for over a decade with whistles, flutes, violin, guitar, percussion, and uilleann pipes [the national bagpipe of Ireland] together with exciting and lyrical vocals.â
