While so many of us are still recovering from the winter storm, there were a few Houston Texans players going around helping people out!
It all started with Michael Amaro from Superior Plumbing Solutions.
He s a plumber who was getting a bunch of calls from people needing help. Some of them had damage so extensive, that they couldn t pay for the repairs.
That s when Michael called his buddy Chester Pitts.who then called Whitney Mercilus and Justin Reid.
The players donated $30,000 and a bunch of plumbing supplies so that Michael could go help these families!
With this awesome donation, Michael should be able to help anywhere from fifty to seventy families.

just dropped the video for his latest single “Knowing You,” which has him dealing with loss. The clip cuts between happy footage of him and a girl on a boat in the Caribbean, and more somber clips of him in the cold while trying to get over her.
“One of the things about this video I love is the way you can feel the settings. Whether in Gloucester, Mass. or the Virgin Islands, each location was selected because it feels the way these emotions actually feel,” he shares. “The people who come into your life and then are gone. beyond missing them, you have the opportunity to recognize what they brought to your life and be thankful.”
Peninsula towns suffer ‘housing stress’
SIX areas on the Mornington Peninsula suffer housing stress 33 per cent higher than the national average.
They are Bittern/Crib Point, Dromana/Safety Beach, Hastings, Rosebud and surrounding district, Rye/Tootgarook/St Andrews Beach and Portsea/Sorrento/Blairgowrie.
A household under stress is defined as being one that spends more than 30 per cent of its gross income on rent or housing costs.
Data from the latest census (2016) shows the peninsula has the sixth highest number of rough sleepers of Victoria’s 79 municipalities.
Their plight is compounded by an under-supply of affordable and social housing, particularly one or two-bedroom dwellings, and that there is no dedicated, affordable emergency accommodation on the peninsula.
