New TB plan in early January - Huey
Proposals on a revised TB eradication programme for NI are likely to be published in the first week of the new-year, DAERA’s chief vet Robert Huey has confirmed.
The new TB strategy, which is expected to contain proposals for controlling the TB reservoir in wildlife, was originally due to be published earlier this autumn. “There is a process that it needs to go through before the Minister can make a statement, but everybody wants this out. It’s imminent,” Huey told journalists on Tuesday.
