The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) reported 195 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 during their 3 pm Thursday, May 20 update. Wyoming crossed 50,000 total confirmed cases on Tuesday. Thursday’s 195 new cases brings the total to 50,266 confirmed cases since the pandemic began. Probable cases rose by 33 on Thursday to a total of 9,324. Five additional confirmed cases were reported in Natrona County on Thursday, where the total stands at 5,974 confirmed cases. Probable rose by two to 2,081. Article continues below. The House of Representatives voted 68-27 for the bill by Sen. Rodger Smitherman, D-Birmingham, that would delay the promotion requirement, now set to take effect next year, by two years. The bill now goes to Gov. Kay Ivey.
