Bremerton pot dealer tied up, robbed at gunpoint Andrew Binion, Kitsap Sun © stock sirens Two men are accused of robbing earlier this month a Bremerton marijuana dealer at gunpoint, restraining him with zip ties and making off with cash, jewelry and pot. One of the suspects, Corbin Andrew Egeler, 34, was charged Friday in Kitsap County Superior Court with first-degree robbery. The other suspect was not identified. In 2012 Washington state voters legalized marijuana and the state established a retail system for recreational cannabis, however, the vestiges of the underground market remain and local pot shops have been targeted by thieves. On Dec. 2 the dealer called Bremerton police to his 15th Street residence to report that Egeler, a customer of his, had come to the house with another man and robbed him, according to court documents.

On Dec. 7, the person reporting the attacks detailed to police what he says he suffered at the hands of Humphries over several days, The Kitsap Sun reported.

Bremerton bartender charged in racist attack on Black man Andrew Binion, Kitsap Sun Prosecutors charged a Bremerton man with a hate crime for stalking a Black man at his work nearly hitting him with the retired ambulance he was driving challenging him to a fight and calling him the n-word. The incident comes as state lawmakers recently noted an increase over the past five years of crimes against people based on their race, religion and gender.  The victim, who works at a car dealership on Auto Center Way, told Bremerton police on December 7 the problems with Christopher Michael Humphries, 42, started the Friday before.
