Called The Graham Norton Radio Show this morning to tell him all about it. Graham asked Ann about the Agatha Christie influences in the latest novel, and if it was intentional. ‘I think I wanted to play with that form,’ she explains. ‘You know, it s lovely. It s very reassuring, isn t it? We all needed reassuring, I think at the moment. So the idea of the snow and the forest and people stuck in a big country house and then, of course, a murder.
