Second batch of oxygen cylinders from Greece arrive in India

In what the India’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson described as “spirit of solidarity and cooperation,” oxygen cylinders from across the European Union, including Greece, arrived in New Delhi on Thursday morning to assist in the country’s fight against COVID-19.
Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that an aircraft “carrying 176 ventilators from Germany, 324 O2 cylinders from Finland and 10 O2 cylinders from Greece” arrived in the country.
Delhi Customs facilitated swift clearance of ventilators and O2 cylinders after arriving at 3.30AM local time.
In fact, it only took Indian authorities 30 minutes to clear the cargo through customs.

Palestinian health officials in the Gaza Strip said 20 people, including nine children, have been killed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.
The Hamas terrorist organisation fired seven rockets at Jerusalem amid tensions between Palestinians and the Israeli police at religious sites in the disputed city that had extended after Palestinian families who had not paid their rent were evicted from their homes.
In retaliation to the rocket attacks, Israel carried out airstrikes on Gaza.
Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida said the rockets were a response to “crimes and aggression” by Israeli forces in Jerusalem.

Foreign Ministry condemns shocking terrorist attack in Afghanistan

Greece strongly condemns the recent heinous terrorist attack in the Afghan city of Logar which targeted civilians, many of whom university students, the Greek Foreign Ministry posted on Wednesday on Twitter.
“We express heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and our full solidarity to the people and government of Afghanistan,” the tweet added.
At least 27 people were killed and dozens more injured on Friday evening when a huge explosion ripped through the capital of Logar in eastern Afghanistan.

Earlier today, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Yavuz Selim Kıran said on Twitter that the so-called Turkish minority face “restrictions on freedom of language, religion and worship.”
