Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu arrives in Bishkek 10/03/21 09:45 Politics
Bishkek, March 10, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu has arrived in Bishkek, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
During the visit the Turkish foreign minister will meet with his Kyrgyz counterpart Ruslan Kazakbaev and other Kyrgyz officials.
The 4th meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey is also planned within the framework of the visit.
During the upcoming meetings and talks it is planned to discuss previously reached agreements on further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as issues relevant to Kyrgyz-Turkish relations.

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2021 /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev held a meeting with deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, member of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey parliamentary friendship group Nihat Yesil.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, during the meeting the sides discussed issues of inter-parliamentary relations, cooperation in cultural and trade and economic spheres, attracting investments and creation of joint commercial and industrial enterprises in Kyrgyzstan.
At the end of the meeting, MP Nihat Yesil congratulated the Kyrgyz ambassador on the successful presidential elections and referendum, as well as on the newly elected president.

BISHKEK Kyrgyzstan s Foreign Ministry appears to be trying to calm simmering tensions with the United States after a senior official criticized the top U.S. diplomat in Bishkek for his statements on the Central Asian nation s problems with corruption.
About a dozen activists gathered in front of the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek on December 11 in support of U.S. Ambassador Donald Lu after the deputy chairman of the Kyrgyz parliament, Mirlan Bakirov, accused the U.S. diplomat of meddling in Kyrgyzstan’s internal affairs because of his statements regarding disputed parliamentary elections in October and the arrest of Raimbek Matraimov, a wealthy and influential political player in the Central Asian nation.
