February 26, 2020, looms large for Carol Juel for a number of reasons. It was her twins’ seventh birthday, and the executive vice president and CIO of Synchrony was scrambling to get home to join the festivities. The day also took on new contours as a routine meeting exploring AWS Workspace technology subsequently laid the groundwork for the firm’s near-real-time transition to remote work as COVID-19 took hold as a global pandemic.
Synchrony sent its 4,000 knowledge workers home on March 13 and followed up with a plan that set up 12,000 call center employees with remote operations a scant two weeks later. Shortly thereafter, Juel and the executive leadership team formally launched an enterprise transformation effort to embrace the very agile business practices that got the remote work effort up and running so quickly. Their goal: to favorably position Synchrony to quickly adapt as it stared down a future of continuously changing scenarios

In an effort to provide the highest caliber exmissions support for its graduates [when moving onto other schools], Princeton Montessori School (PMONTS) is partnering with educational consultant, Amanda Rose, to help PMONTS middle school students prepare for the independent high school admissions process.
According to PMONTS, Dr. Rose, who has a doctorate in psychology, is a highly sought after academic consultant in the Princeton area who also coaches students on college essays, SSAT/SAT/ACT preparation and interviewing and job search strategies.

On December 22, CMS announced the 16 hospitals awarded Medicare-funded DGME and IME positions through Round 16 of the Affordable Care Act’s Section 5506 slot redistribution program. Round 16 redistributed 574.82 DGME and 556.81 IME FTE cap slots from Hahnemann University Hospital, which closed during the summer of 2019.
Section 5506 of the ACA requires CMS to implement the closed hospital residency slot redistribution program. Under the program, CMS is required to take all of the DGME and IME residency slots from hospitals that closed on or after March 23, 2008, and to permanently redistribute them according to certain criteria.
CECIL COUNTY â The year is almost over, and whether we like it or not, 2020 will be remembered for one thing, the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and its affect on the lives of everyone on the planet.
