East Cambridge Savings Bank this week announced that Olga Vasquez-Garcia has been named business development manager at the Bank’s Chelsea Banking Center.
In this role, Vasquez-Garcia will serve as the banking center manager and will oversee business development and banking center operations. Banking center managers are also active in the communities they serve through involvement in civic organizations and volunteering. Ms. Vasquez-Garcia joined the Bank on April 26.
“I’m thrilled to join East Cambridge Savings Bank and am looking forward to serving our Chelsea customers,” said Vasquez-Garcia. “I have worked in banking in this area for many years and I’m excited to join a Bank that is so community focused and places a high emphasis on supporting small businesses and Chelsea residents.” Prior to joining the Bank, Vasquez-Garcia was a branch manager at a bank in Revere and worked at several other regional financial institutions in various roles.

Medford Special Education Parent Advisory: The Medford Special Education Parent Advisory is a volunteer-based group of parent advocates helping families of children with special needs in the community and informing the school district on issues pertaining to special education. All families are welcome to learn about sharing resources, understanding the basics of special education law and civil rights and to enjoy the benefits of coming together as a community.
