A woman was arrested on Sunday in Killeen in connection with suspected possession of a controlled substance.
Marisela Valenzuela, 24, of Harker Heights, was found in the area of the 6200 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard on Sunday when officers arrived in reference to criminal trespass, according to the arrest affidavit.
A bag containing a crystal substance was found in her jacket, and Valenzuela admitted to the officers that the substance was methamphetamine, according to the affidavit.
The substance tested positive and weighed around .51 grams.
Valenzuela was also charged on some warrants. Her total bond is set at $22,500 and she was in the Bell County Jail on Tuesday.
Public intoxication was reported at midnight Thursday in the 4300 block of Brookside Drive.
Possession of drug paraphernalia was reported at 2:20 a.m. Friday near the intersection of South Fort Hood Street and West Jasper Road.
Debit or credit card abuse was reported at 3:06 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of South W.S. Young Drive.
Possession of a controlled substance was reported at 3:45 a.m. Friday in the 2700 block of Tucker Drive.
Criminal mischief was reported at 8:05 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of West Central Texas Expressway.
Aggravated assault was reported at 11 a.m. Friday in the 8300 block of Grayson Trail.
A tattoo of a cross on a manâs forehead led Harker Heights police to a robbery suspect who was indicted this week.
A Bell County grand jury indicted 27-year-old DâNerior Drew, of Bastrop on a charge of robbery, a second-degree felony. He was being held in the Bell County Jail on Wednesday in lieu of a $100,000 bond on the robbery charge as well as a motion to revoke probation.
On Oct. 21, at around 6:25 a.m., Harker Heights police were dispatched to Lucky Winners in the 110 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard in reference to a robbery.
There, a witness told police that two men walked into the business wearing masks, hoodies, gloves and with guns displayed on their clothing, according to the arrest affidavit. The woman âstated that one of the men had a tattoo of a cross on his head and that she recognized the man as âScooter.ââ
Criminal mischief was reported at 12:21 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Houston Street.
Theft and possession of a stolen firearm was reported at 1:21 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of North Second Street and West Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
Failure to stop and give information was reported at 3:39 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard and North Second Street.
Criminal trespass was reported at 7 p.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of East Rancier Avenue.
Theft and possession of a stolen firearm was reported at 8:23 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of North Gilmer Street and West Rancier Avenue.
