EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Stimulus checks are starting to roll in for Americans, and for many, it’s a sigh of relief in these difficult times.
If you check your bank account Thursday morning as a single person with no dependents, you may see that $600 pending.
If you have dependents, you’ll see an additional $600 for each one 16-years-old and younger.
Married couples will see one payment of $1,200.
In order to qualify for these payments, you have to be a taxpayer who filed a 2019 tax return or receive Social Security retirement, have disability benefits, Railroad Retirement benefits, Supplemental Security Income or be a Veterans Affairs beneficiary.
