Adriyanto noted that economic recovery had resulted in the creation of 2.61 million new jobs during the period from September 2020 to February 2021, especially in strategic sectors, such as manufacturing, agriculture, trade, accommodation services, as well as food and beverage.

Early this year, President Jokowi had tasked the BKKBN with implementing extraordinary programs to lower Indonesia s stunting rate, from 27.9 percent in 2019 to 14 percent in 2024.
