The defendant is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Trial date set for man accused of exposing his genitalia

South Cumbria Magistrates Court, Barrow-in-Furness A TRIAL date has been set for a man charged with exposing himself and touching, without consent, a woman aged 16 or over on the M6 in Cumbria. Ayoub Shah Momand, 44, from Newcastle upon Tyne, has been accused of the offences which are alleged to have happened on June 6 on the motorway. The Ladykirk Road resident elected a trial by jury when he attended South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Mr Momand has been sent for trial at Carlisle Crown Court on January 22, 2021 at 10am. He has been granted bail under the conditions that he does not contact the victim by any means and that he does not to enter Cumbria for any other reason than to attend court.
