Towing-related crash injures Deerwood man
A Dodge Ram was pulling a Ford F-250 with a tie-down strap north on Nokay Lake Road approaching an intersection, when the strap broke and the Ford passed the Dodge and struck an oncoming Chevy, the state patrol reported.

DEERWOOD An 18-year-old Deerwood man was injured Monday, June 28, when a strap towing the truck he was in broke, causing the truck to strike an SUV.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 12:39 p.m. where a Chevrolet Equinox was traveling east on Crow Wing County Highway 12 approaching Nokay Lake Road. During the same time, a Dodge Ram was pulling a Ford F-250 with a tie-down strap north on Nokay Lake Road approaching the intersection. The tie-down strap broke and the Ford passed the Dodge and struck the Chevy in the intersection, the state patrol reported.
