The people protested against the siege imposed by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Kurdish security force, Assayish, which led to preventing the entry of food and other necessities to government areas in Hasakah. The students have also been denied access to their schools as a result of the siege that has been in place for two weeks.
