As seen during Sunday night’s WWE TLC pay-per-view event, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander defeated The New Day to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. Following the match, Benjamin dedicated the win to the late Shad Gaspard on social media.
WWE published the following video with Benjamin commenting on his dedication to Shad. He said:
“Knowing that I had gone in there and dedicated this moment to Shad. When I attended his funeral I made a promise to myself that if I won a title, especially a tag team championship because I know Shad and JTG worked hard even though they never actually got a chance to wear a title. I made a point then that no matter what title it was going to be, it was going to be dedicated to Shad.

Last week’s WWE Raw drew a historically low viewership, and things didn t improve much for this Monday s episode which featured all the fallout from WWE TLC pay-per-view.
Showbuzz Daily revealed the red-brand drew an overnight three hour average of 1.691 viewers, an increase from last week’s 1.52 million.
It was the fourth most watch show on cable behind Monday Night Football. The show averaged a .65 in the 18-49 demographic.
Vince McMahon is reportedly looking to reboot the brand over the next several weeks to try and increase viewership heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Justice Robinson recently suffered a fractured orbital bone and was unable to compete at the recent Road To Tokyo Dome event and thus has been removed from the Wrestle Kingdom 15 event
NJPW issued the following:
Juice Robinson has sustained a fractured orbital bone and will not be able to compete on tonight’s Road to Tokyo Dome event or Wrestle Kingdom 15.

WWE taped the Christmas episode of SmackDown on Tuesday and the main event of the show featured a big title change.
The main event was a lumberjack match between Sami Zayn and Big E for Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship. Big E picked up the victory and is now a 2x Intercontinental Champion having previously held it in 2013 after defeating Curtis Axel.
