Get Ready: Lot s of Snow & Sub-zero Temps On The Way

Grab those snow shovels and plows because you re going to need them this weekend. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning for Gallatin Valley until Sunday at 5 p.m. It s been a snowy start to February and the Bozeman area is expected to see anywhere from 6 to 12 inches of snow in the Gallatin Valley while the local mountains could receive up to two feet of the white stuff. Winds are also expected to be a part of this snow with gusts up around 35 mph. Temps will also drop starting Friday night. Over the weekend, we ll see temps in the single digits, and next week, look for sub-zero temps as low as -17 below zero without the wind chill.
