Clonroche boy Michael Connors had the honour of naming a fundraising teddy bear launched by Tesco Ireland for Temple Street children s hospital. Benji is being sold in Tesco supermarkets around the country for €5, with all the proceeds going to help the Children s Health Foundation Temple Street buy a CT scanner for the hospital.
Earlier this year, Tesco ran a colouring competition for children visiting Temple Street Hospital, for the chance to name the Christmas 2020 teddy bear and seven years old Michael was the winner.
