Implementation plan for second economic impact payment approved

Checks will start to be mailed by the end of next week.
The plan was authorized by the COVID-Related Tax Reform Act of 2020, signed into law by former President Donald Trump Dec. 27.

The Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Treasury approved $108 million for the second round of Guam s economic impact payment program and have approved the advance of 90% to be transferred to the government of Guam after plan approval.
