LONDON [UK]: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday said he will discuss India and UK’s shared vision for a sustainable future and other issues with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his upcoming visit to India.
Addressing the International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI 2021), Johnson lauded the Indian Prime Minister’s leadership in areas such as renewable energy in the global fight against climate change.
“We have a shared vision for a sustainable future for our nations and the global community – and I very much look forward to discussing this and many other issues with Prime Minister Modi on my upcoming visit to India,” Johnson said

Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), in partnership with member countries, organisations and institutions, is hosting the International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure - ICDRI 2021, a three-day Interactive Virtual Conference scheduled to be held from March 17 to March 19.

India and Finland on Tuesday held wide ranging discussions during a virtual summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his counterpart Sanna Marin which lasted just under an hour.
This was the first interaction between the two Prime Ministers since the Finnish Prime Minister assumed office in 2019.
Both the leaders underlined that the longstanding close relations between India and Finland were based on shared values of democracy, rule of law, equality, and respect for human rights. WN-PM FINLAND Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday emphasised that both Finland and India believe in a rules-based, transparent, humanitarian and democratic global order. Prime Minister Modi and his Finnish counterpart Sanna Marin discussed the entire gamut of bilateral issues as well as other regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest during the virtual summit.
