Ron Johnson: Biden Frees 173K Border Crossers into U S in Six Months

27 Jul 2021 President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has freed about 173,000 border crossers into the United States, many without a Notice to Appear in immigration court, in the first half of the year, according to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI). In testimony at a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on Tuesday, Johnson revealed that DHS has released nearly 140,000 border crossers with a Notice to Appear in immigration court and another nearly 40,000 border crossers with only a Notice to Report to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. Data from 2019 found that 9-in-10 border crossers given a Notice to Appear in immigration court never show up to their court hearings.

Analysis: Joe Biden Set to Surge Illegal Alien Population Across U S

John Moore/Getty Images 21 Jul 2021 President Joe Biden is “set to surge” the number of illegal aliens living across the United States, new analysis provided to Breitbart News details. The analysis, conducted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), projects that the nation’s illegal alien population will increase dramatically as a result of Biden’s mass migration agenda where border crossers are routinely being released into the U.S. interior, most illegal aliens are evading deportation, and there are no plans for a crackdown on visa overstays. The illegal alien population “could exceed 20 million” if Biden “implements all of his preferred policies” by the end of 2024, the analysis estimates.

Border Apprehensions Pass 1 Million While Democrats Plan Amnesty

Recently updated data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection showed border apprehensions have surpassed one million for the 2021 fiscal year, for the first time since 2006. The number of apprehensions at our border will almost certainly surpass the 2006 totals, however, with our current fiscal year not ending until September 30, 2021.  The United States is also currently on track to set a new record for the number of apprehensions on our southern border, surpassing the records of 1.69 million and 1.67 million the country experienced in fiscal years 1986 and 2000.  The last time we had more than 188K monthly apprehensions on the the southwest border was March of 2000. We had more than 1.6 million total apprehensions that year, an all-time record, which we re on pace to surpass this year.
