Community Health of Northwest Florida is removing the barriers for eligible residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine by allowing them to bring a current prescription bottle that treats an underlying medical condition that puts them at higher risk for the disease.
The organization hosted a walk-in clinic Monday at the Brownsville Community Center and is accepting appointments for three clinics this week, including one evening clinic to accommodate working families.
The clinics are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Friday and from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St. Those who qualify for the vaccine can call the Community Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 850-439-3358 to make an appointment.
