LETTER | Zuraida s comment on Agong irresponsible A - LETTER | We are taken aback by a statement that was released by Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin, who is also Ampang MP, in an interview with Astro Awani on Aug 2, 2021, with regard to the role of Yang di-Pertuan Agong in advising the government administration in line with his responsibilities as head of state.  Zuraida ( above) mentioned, amongst other things, that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong made an error in advising the government and the need to refer to the government before making a statement regarding the cancellation of the emergency ordinance.
