President Biden has been very clear. He wants to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 from the current floor of $7.25 an hour. But it’s also clear that it’ll be a tough sell. Republicans have singled out a $15 wage in Mr. Biden’s Covid-relief package as one of the things they object to most. Even some Senate Democrats may not be on board; Joe Manchin and Jon Tester have already voiced opposition. During the deliberations over Mr. Biden’s proposal on the Senate floor this week, a measure that prohibits any minimum wage increase during the pandemic passed on a voice vote, potentially signaling probl
Presidio Property Trust Announces Signing of Major Lease with U.S. General Services Administration
SAN DIEGO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / February 3, 2021
/ Presidio Property Trust, Inc. (NASDAQ:SQFT), an internally managed, diversified real estate investment trust, announced the signing of a major lease at its Garden Gateway office property in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The U.S. General Services Administration (or GSA) signed a lease for over 18,000 square feet to be utilized for veterans services. This 10-year lease with an option to lease for up to 25 years demonstrates the strong tenant demand Presidio is experiencing at a number of its office properties in secondary and tertiary markets. Colorado Springs is an example of a market that has come into its own as a very desirable location to live and work, said Gary Katz, Senior Vice President of Asset Management.
My wife and I volunteered at the Mesa County Covid Vaccination effort at the convention center and it was very well organized and staffed. The process was simple and took ~1/2 hour for those who got vaccinated. Sign up and get your shots when you are scheduled. Kudos to Mesa County health department!
Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Family West Hospital for their wonderful work and attitudes administering the COVID vaccine. You made the process so simple and easy, even for senior citizens. The kindness and respect you showed was greatly appreciated.
I m so frustrated trying to sign up for the Covid vaccine through the Public Health. I signed both my husband and myself for the vaccine since we are over 70. We were supposed to get a verification email. We did not receive the verification so I signed us up again. Still no verification. Have no idea if we are on the list or not. Trust me, they do not answer phones at the Department of Health.
Under the mandate, face masks will be required on all federal property and by all federal employees and contractors. This applies to all federal buildings and land across the country, including federal courthouses, state Capitols, national parks, and monuments. This means if you visit the Grand Canyon or the Statue of Liberty, you ll be required to mask up. Although Biden has no authority over state and local orders, he has urged them to enact their own mandates. While most states already have mask requirements in place, others (including Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Tennessee) have chosen not to issue a statewide order.

We pointed out how Joe Biden immediately after signing his mask mandate for federal property was caught without a mask at the Lincoln Memorial. As were other members of his family.
Here are a couple of shots of them.

Then, Jen Psaki gave the lamest excuse on the planet as to why they all just violated his mask mandate. As we reported, Psaki, not wearing a mask, said they were “celebrating an evening, a historic day in our country…I don’t know that I have more for you on it than that.” “Bigger issues to worry about,” she said.
