Bupa Arabia launches new health insurance products
JEDDAH, 5 hours, 50 minutes ago Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance has launched two new innovative health insurance solutions - Bupa Family and Bupa Helpers - designed specifically in accordance with the needs of Saudi families. Additionally, the new products come in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to raise peoples’ average lifespan from 74 years to 80 years, and the Healthcare Transformation Strategy led by the Ministry of Health. Atef Mufti, Chief Sales Officer at Bupa Arabia, said the launch of Bupa Family and Bupa Helpers for Saudi families and domestic workers in the kingdom comes as part of the company s efforts to meet the growing needs and expectations of its customers and offer them the best quality of health insurance services provided by more than 1,200 healthcare providers across the kingdom.

RIYADH: Robust revenue cycle management systems will be essential for Saudi Arabia’s new health care model, KPMG said in a report.
The Kingdom’s Ministry of Health (MoH) is transitioning from being an all-in-one payer, provider and regulator of health services to becoming a regulator, governing corporate payers and providers.
A key aspect of this transformation is the separation of the payer and the provider functions in the public health care sector, KPMG said. To facilitate future reimbursement to public health care providers, the Ministry of Health has set up the Program for Health Assurance and Purchasing (PHAP).
In addition, the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) has also firmed up regulations for private insurers.
Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance has been named as the Middle East’s most valuable insurance provider, in the annual report for 2021 by Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy headquartered in London.
The report noted that Bupa Arabia’s strong financial forecasts have driven its brand value up by 23 percent to $618 million (SR2.31 billion).
