Off duty police officer charged Police have charged an off-duty police officer following a random breath test in South Perth on 15 February 2021.
The woman was stopped around 11.40am and following a preliminary breath test it was ascertained that she had consumed alcohol. She was conveyed to the Kensington Police Station where she underwent a breath analysis test which gave a reading of 0.238 grams of alcohol per 100ml of blood.
The 48-year-old Senior Constable from the State Crime Portfolio has been charged with Drove a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol and has been served a Motor Drivers Licence Disqualification Notice.

A powerboat world record-breaking businessman groped a young woman between her legs outside Britain s most famous yacht club, a jury heard today.
Peter Bonham Christie, 39, is accused of lunging at the 27-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, when she was smoking outside London s Royal Thames Yacht Club.
Bonham Christie, of Lymington, Hampshire, whose company specialises in the transportation of classic and luxury cars, pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting the woman on November 30, 2018.
Earlier that night the University of Portsmouth graduate had dined at auction house Bonhams, where he had also given a speech and taken a client to five-star Claridge s in Mayfair, Isleworth Crown Court was told.
