When: May 21-22 Lake Orion, Michigan – Genisys Credit Union and T-Mobile presents the 20th annual Flower & Art Fair in Downtown Lake Orion. This Spring fair will feature a variety of local vendors that will have flowers, plants and decorative elements for lawns and homes. There will be local businesses who will showcase landscaping and home improvements ideas. Vendors will be placed on the streets in Downtown Lake Orion. The Orion Art Center will be hosting on-site DIY projects and a Succulent Search and Shop event. New this year; there will be a Beer Garden, in the parking lot at Front and Anderson Streets, that will feature live music, food trucks, cornhole, games and bar. Plus, Upland Hills Farm will have a petting farm on site on Friday 11am-5pm and Saturday 9am – 3pm.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Lake Orion Flower and Art Fair returns this weekend with a beer garden, live music, a petting farm and a “Succulent Search and Shop” added to its traditional offerings of plants, landscaping and home décor.
There will also be food, games, a DIY garden, art projects and more than 100 vendors at the fair, which takes place Friday and Saturday in downtown Lake Orion.
“There is something for everyone,” said Julie Law, president of 360 Event Productions, which is organizing the fair.

STERLING HEIGHTS Creatively inclined residents are invited to leave their mark on the city or rather, its pavement at an upcoming event involving chalk art.
The program, titled “Parking Lot Picasso,” is run by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and will use the south-end lot of the Sterling Heights Senior Center as its canvas.
Forty parking spaces are being reserved for this year’s event, which will take place 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 30, with a rain date set for Saturday, May 1 at the same time.
