As we transition into the offseason, the next couple of weeks will provide a chance to escape from the mistakes Tottenham Hotspur made since the Champions League final defeat on the first day of June in 2019. Just two seasons removed from that match, Tottenham finds itself trying to move on some of the same players that should have gone elsewhere years ago. They find themselves looking to re-establish their DNA and identity, something they hope to tackle when Antonio Conte, widely predicted to be Spurs’ next manager, takes the reins in the next few days.
I swear I feel I’ve written more about Cameron Carter-Vickers in the last few weeks than I have any other player on the fringe of the first team. It’s weird! But here’s another story about yet.

JACK WILSHERE will leave Bournemouth at the end of his short-term contract while the futures of long-serving pair Junior Stanislas and Adam Smith remain in doubt.
England midfielder Wilshere joined the Cherries in January and scored two goals in 17 appearances but his stay will not be extended.
Stanislas and Smith were offered new contracts last autumn and although negotiations continued throughout the season neither has agreed a new deal.
