A Peterborough man has appeared in court, charged with the attempted murder of a nine-year-old boy who was repeatedly stabbed.
Prosecutors allege that Faisal Khan, 24, followed the boy down a street in Peterborough, overtook him and then stabbed him repeatedly on May 8.

The family of the man who died in the arms of paramedics have shared how devastated they are to lose him.
Police believe that Nigel Ebbage, 35, was murdered on Thursday lunchtime (April 29) after they were called to a house in Honeysuckle Close, Wimblington by paramedics.

A drug dealer from Littleport who was caught in a hotel room with class A drugs with a street value of more than £1,300 has been jailed for almost three years.
Tony Adams, 29, was being sought by police who found him in a hotel in Coldhams Lane, Cambridge, with a stash of crack cocaine and heroin.
The drugs were found hidden in some plastic gloves as well as a quantity of cash on December 1.

A teenager who threatened to shoot two women in a Peterborough park has been jailed.
Logan Cook, 19, approached two women in their 20s at Welland Field in November last year after he had been drinking vodka and smoking cannabis.
