Cambria County Homicide 2ND UPDATE: According to Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer, a 67-year-old man has been charged with homicide in the fatal shooting of his 21-year-old grandson at a Cambria Township home. Neugebauer says John Oblinsky, of Summerhill, faces charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault following a domestic-related shooting Friday evening. The district attorney’s office says police were called to the home, along Fairlane Road, for a reported shots fired incident. Investigators say police found 21-year-old Jacob Fisher unresponsive at the residence, and the coroner later pronounced him dead at the scene. “There is never a reason that domestic disputes should turn physical or involve firearms,” Neugebauer said.

ifredregill@altoonamirror.com Altoona police filed drug charges Friday against a state parolee after law enforcement members discovered several illicit substances, including crack, in the parolee’s Altoona home, court documents stated. In January, the Altoona Police Department worked with agents from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office to serve Mark L. Ivory, 45, with a Cambria County warrant for drug delivery charges, according to court documents. While Ivory was not listed under Blair County supervision, an agent received information that Ivory was living in Altoona, police reported. On Jan. 13, Altoona police accompanied Attorney General’s Office agents to Ivory’s address, and upon contacting Ivory, officers immediately detected the odor of burnt marijuana, a criminal complaint stated.

After about three hours of deliberations, the Jury found Paul Lehman Guilty on all charges. The Jury found Lehman Guilty of 1st Degree Murder, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, and Tampering with Evidence. Lehman took the stand on Thursday to testify which is rare for a Defendant to do in a homicide trial. Lehman told the Jury he’s been using drugs since he was 12 years old and he’s been going to a duplex along the 800 block of Steel Street to get drugs. That’s where Lehman said he met Hurling calling himself, quote, “One of his best customers.”
