Two advisors and a special assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan resigned from their posts on Saturday.
According to a notification issued by the provincial government, KP Governor Shah Farman has accepted the resignations of Adviser to the CM on Energy and Power Himayatullah Khan, Adviser to the CM on Information and Technology Ziaullah Bangash and Special Assistant to the CM on Excise and Taxation Ghazan Jamal. They have ceased to hold the portfolios of advisers/special assistants to the KP chief minister with immediate effect, the notification stated.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2021 ) :Khyber PakhtunkhwaChief Minister Mahmood Khan on Thursday said that under the Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Scholarship programme, a total of 5,478 students would be provided scholarships in higher, elementary and secondary education sectors in the province.
He said 878 scholarships in higher education sector would cost Rs 340 million while 4,600 scholarships in elementary and secondary education sector Rs 230 million respectively.
About 50 percent scholarships would be given on merit base and 50 percent on need base, he added.

ISLAMABAD: A demonstration of the two-way voting system machine was presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday to ensure transparency in elections in a safe way.
In this connection, Imran chaired a meeting on electronic voting system. The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, MDNRTC Brigadier Tauseef and other senior officers.
According to the Prime Minister Office, a demonstration of the two-way voting system machine was presented to the PM. The forum was told that the proposed voting system would provide both electronic and paper trail of the electoral process, which would ensure transparency in the elections.
