Govt will resolve all genuine issues of public representatives on priority basis: KP CM
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan says equal and sustainable development of all backward areas and well-being of the vulnerable segments of the society is top priority of PTI government.
Chairing a meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf’s Parliamentary Party in Peshawar, he said the government will resolve all genuine issues of the public representatives on priority basis.
Mahmood Khan directed the provincial cabinet members and members of provincial assembly of the ruling party to visit hospitals, police stations and other public service delivery centres in their respective constituencies to ensure service delivery to the public at local level.

PM urges youths to benefit from job opportunity programmes

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday asked the youth to take full advantage of Skills Education and Kamyab Jawan Programmes launched by the government for creation of job opportunities in the country.
In a video message on the state-run television, the prime minister said this would not only benefit the youth but also the country as a whole and noted that 170,000 scholarships are being given for the skill development of the youth. He said 50,000 scholarships would be given for hi-tech skills including artificial intelligence and big data, enabling the youth to get excellent job opportunities as the world is heading towards revolution in the technology.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Tuesday said Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad to visit Sindh and devise a strategy in coordination with the law enforcement agencies to improve worsening law and order situation in the province.
Taking notice of grave concerns of Sindh Governor Imran Ismael and Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umer on rising crime rate in Sindh, the prime minister also directed the interior minister to submit a report in this regard.
Fawad, in a tweet, said both the leaders in a meeting with the prime minister conveyed their concerns about the worsening law and order situation and governance issues in Sindh, besides rising crime rate.
Body of missing child recovered from well in Swat

MINGORA: The body of a four-year old child, who had gone missing from Sherpalam area in Matta tehsil, was recovered from a water well on Saturday.
Rizwan had gone missing from Sherpalam area in Matta tehsil, the native town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, three days before the last Eidul Fitre.
He was searched everywhere but could not be traced despite hectic efforts by the relatives.
The police then also launched a search operation after Chief Minister Mahmood Khan issued special directives for the safe recovery of the missing child.
