Drawbridge towers lit up in Palestinian flag colours as show of solidarity

KUALA TERENGGANU (Bernama): The iconic drawbridge towers here are fully lit in bright red, green, white and black this evening, symbolising the colours of the Palestinian flag. The installation of the lights is a sign of solidarity between the leadership and the people of Terengganu towards Palestine, especially the people in Gaza who are currently under attack by the Israeli Zionist regime. TI Properties Sdn Bhd chief executive officer, Khalizan Mahmud, said that the towers were lit up at 7pm starting tonight, for the next seven consecutive evenings. As we are currently under the movement control order, the lighting display is only for five hours daily, which is until midnight.

Police hold flag march in Lahore National May 12, 2021 LAHORE: Lahore police carried out flag march in different areas of the city on Tuesday, to monitor law and order situation as well as implementation of Corona SOPs. CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar along with Commissioner Lahore led the flag march. Contingents of Pakistan Army and Rangers, teams of different operational units of Lahore Police including Dolphin Squad, Elite Force, traffic police and Police Response Unit were part of the flag march. Flag March started from Town Hall and passed through different roads and markets of the city. Lahore police registered 4,792 FIRs during 39 days against different corona SOPs violations.
