This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. According to the poll, the happiest people live in Kyrgyzstan (85%), Kazakhstan (78%), Ecuador (77%), Colombia (77%). These are findings of a survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation jointly with Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, according to an UNIAN correspondent. Despite the coronavirus epidemic and economic problems, 8.5% of respondents noted that they were very happy and 45.5% were mostly happy in 2020. Yet, sociologists note that this is the lowest level of happiness compared to 2018-2019 (in 2018, some 12% of pollees said they were very happy and 47.6% said they were mostly happy; in 2019, the figures were 11.9% and 49.2%, respectively).
