West Lindsey District Council has granted planning permission for 95 affordable homes to be built on land off Middlefield Lane, Gainsborough.
The nine-acre site will be called Hillcrest Gardens and will include affordable two, three and four-bedroom semi and detached homes.
Originally, back in 2019, developers Gleeson Homes submitted plans for 115 homes in the area but that has since been reduced to 95.
Each property will have a private garden as well as a minimum of one garage and one parking space.

Second phase of major Workington housing development set for go-ahead
The second stage of a major housing development in Workington could be on the horizon.
Housing developer Gleeson Homes is seeking the go-ahead for reserved matters relating to phase two of a major housing development on land at Ashfield Road South in Workington.
The developer, which specialises in building low-cost homes, intends to build more than 200 new homes in addition to the 35 already built on the site by developer Mandale Homes.
A section 106 legal agreement had been put in place for the site in 2017, requiring that the development of the site be approached in a phased manner.
A LOCAL authority has issued an emergency tree preservation order on the outskirts of one of the borough s main towns. Pendle Council acted after residents saw a housing developer making ground investigations near the the woodland at The Lenches in Colne. The order protects the coppice for 28 days while officials investigate. It was brought in after worried locals attended at meeting of borough s Colne and District Area Committee last week. The highly-visible trees are on land above the South Valley area of the town on which developers Gleeson Homes are preparing a planning application to build new houses. The residents acted after discovering workers digging up the field and drilling holes and obtaining masterplan for the new homes.
