09:39 | London (U.K.), Mar. 4. The Peruvian higher education sector has seen its share of programs performing well enough to be globally-ranked increase by 50% year-on-year, according to the eleventh edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
The 2021 installment of QS s global university performance comparison offers independent data on the performance of 18 departments at 7 of Peru s universities, across 51 academic disciplines.
This is an increase of 6 year-on-year, with only 12 Peruvian university departments ranked in last year s edition.
QS also finds that Peru performs most strongly in QS s Business & Management Studies and Medicine rankings: three (3) Peruvian universities are featured in each table, and Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP) has entered the top 250 for Business & Management.
