How appropriate that we recognize law enforcement officers and the rule of law in the aftermath of Wednesday’s assault on the U.S. Capitol.
Saturday was is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, meant to recognize the men and women in blue for upholding the oath to protect and to serve.
“Cops,” whether municipal, county, state, military or federal officers, have a very tough job made all the more difficult in today’s acrid environment where just a few bad apples cause people to judge all of our valued protectors.
If you have a police officer as a friend or a family member, show them that you appreciate how difficult their job is.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A group of Jacksonville residents took to the skies Tuesday to air out grievances against U.S. Rep. John Rutherford over his objection to the certification of the 2020 presidential election results.
“Resign now Rutherford you betrayed us,” read the banner towed by a plane soaring above the Interstate 95 corridor during the morning rush hour.
