TC Subaru has officially launched the new Subaru Forester 2.0i-L GT Lite Edition in Malaysia, which is priced at
RM163,788 on-the-road without insurance. The sum includes a five-year/100,000-km warranty and factors in the ongoing sales tax relief – 50% as the Forester is fully-imported (CBU) from Thailand.
Like the Forester 2.0i-S EyeSight GT Edition before it, the GT Lite Edition is based on an existing variant – the Forester 2.0i-L in this case – but with a body kit fitted for a sportier and more rugged look.
The list of add-ons includes bumper lip extensions at the front and rear, along with side skirts, a roof spoiler and a larger exhaust finisher. Beyond these items, the rest of the SUV is pretty much identical to a regular Forester 2.0i-L.
Available in the United States since last summer, the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek has crossed the Atlantic Ocean, landing in the United Kingdom as the XV, in right-hand drive and with an identical starting price to its predecessor: £31,665 ($43,427).
The facelifted XV is offered with plenty of standard equipment, including the EyeSight driver assistance gear, LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry & go, 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and heated front seats for the base SE version.
The other model on sale is called the SE Premium. It starts at £33,665 ($46,170), and the extra £2,000 ($2,743) is justified by the addition of other amenities, such as the satellite navigation system, sunroof, leather upholstery and eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat. The redesigned coil springs and dampers, and enhanced X-Mode and SI-Drive functions are part of the revisions.

Subaru Reveals Pricing for 2021 WRX and WRX STI

Since its introduction in 1992, the Subaru WRX and WRX STI have served as the gold-standard for high-performance, street-ready rally cars. On Dec. 10, the automaker announced the price attached to both 2021 models, as well as some exciting new information on performance specs.
What to expect from the 2021 WRX
The base 2021 Subaru WRX will cost $27,495 the same price as the outgoing 2020 model. It will be available in three trim levels: WRX, WRX Premium, and WRX Limited, with the most expensive model starting at $33,995.
No matter which trim level you choose, you’re in for a thrill. The WRX comes standard with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Active Torque Vectoring, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged BOXER engine that blasts out 268 horsepower. For enhanced control, you can upgrade to a Sport Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with manual shift modes.
