It is with great honor the Earlville Opera House (EOH) announces receipt of a $20,000 grant from Community Foundation for South Central New York’s (CFSCNY) 2021 Arts Cycle. The funds will be used for general operating support in response to the severe economic impact COVID-19 has had on the arts and performing arts venues.
In addition, support has also been received for the creation of a part-time Technology Outreach coordinator position to handle venue management systems and databases for more efficient marketing and outreach.
The EOH was founded in 1972 as a not-for-profit, volunteer-based, community service organization with a dual mission: to promote the arts in a rural region of Central New York by offering programs of cultural, educational and historical significance; and to preserve and restore the architectural and historic integrity of the EOH, a unique second-story theater constructed in 1892.
