Angela Anderson, Associate Nurse Director has been named as Nurse of the Year for 2021 by Solent NHS Trust. The award gave patients and Solent colleagues the opportunity to recognise those who make a difference and is part of Solent NHS Trust’s celebration of International Nurses Day 2020. Angela, who qualified as a nurse in 1988 and is trained in both adults and children’s nursing was presented with the award on the first day of Solent NHS Trust’s Nurses’ Day celebrations, following a ceremonial service at St Margaret’s Church in Wellow where Florence Nightingale is buried.
