It is believed at least 17,000 health workers globally have died from Covid-19 in the past 12 months Each year on 28 April, unions around the globe unite to pay tribute to those who have died in the course of their work. But nursing leaders noted that this year’s International Workers Memorial Day had a special significance for those working in health and care in wake of Covid-19.
