Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health on Thursday recorded 253 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, marking a slight increase as compared to the past few days. The single-day virus-related deaths, however, continued to drop with just three fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 367,276 and overall fatalities to 6,366. The ministry also reported 208 new recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 358,753, with the recovery rate reaching 97.67.
Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health on Thursday announced the detection of 108 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 363,485.
Six more patients have succumbed to complications caused by the infection, taking the total number of virus-related fatalities to 6,278, Dr. Mohammed Al Abdul Ali, the ministry’s spokesperson, said.
A further 138 new recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of people recovered across the Kingdome to 355,037, with the recovery rate rising to 97.67 per cent.
With the recoveries surpassing new cases regularly, the active cases have dropped to 2,170, out of which 328 are critical cases.
